5 things to do in Corona virus lock down

As, we all are stuck inside our houses due to Corona virus this is causing stress, anxiety, depression, panic behaviour, and many other assorted reactions. We are not going to get out of food, water, or other supplies. On top of all these , many are asked to work at home with their children being home from cancelled schools for months. Getting ourselves planned will help us in dealing with this outbreak smoothly. Finally, I have tried  to list down few activities that will help you to stay more positive and less stressful.

1. Exercising with family:Many states have closed the gyms and fitness centres, so take a walk or do an in home exercise. Whether you are a morning or evening person, plan your schedule accordingly. As a rule, adults need at least 30 minutes of moderate physical exercise almost every single day while children need 60 minutes of exercising  in order to maintain our heart and lungs healthy.

ACTIVITIES: Jogging, Cycling, Running, Yoga, Zumba etc.

2. Morning routine:Taking shower in the morning will make you feel more refreshed and boost your energy level.Start your day with a healthy breakfast which includes warm flavoured milk, fruits, oats, etc avoid packaged snacks. Consume home cooked fresh food.

3. Learning with family:Make sure your kids have some thing to do. There are hundreds of computer apps out there with learning and hopefully your school is providing them with learning lessons and homework to complete. Give them 20 minutes breaks every hour or so. Avoid television news channels and other media in front of them as it can negatively affect their emotions unless our child is easy to deal with.Napping in the noon with kids makes things more easy to go with.

4. Organising: As clutter can trigger the release of stress hormone cortisol and increase anxiety it is important that during these days we organise our home clutter and make it neat and clean.
